A SERIOUS CASE OF TILTING

A long time ago, I had a little lump on my neck. I didn't want to see a doctor about it because I knew it was probably nothing. Instead, I went to an online medical site for a diagnosis. (Because what's more reliable than the internet?)

The website gives you a big list of symptoms, you click on the ones you've got, and then the site makes a diagnosis. (In my case, it was heartburn.)

What I found most interesting was not the diseases but the symptoms. I circled the most beguiling one in red.

Sometimes it'll ask you follow-up questions, and this was by far my favorite:

"Yeah, Doc, I'm having difficulty swallowing... and I've noticed it gets worse every time I drink a big glass of poison."
