DOPEY

I was trying to think of an interesting question for a game show pilot I'm doing for a network when I stumbled upon this idea:

"In terms of square acres, which is bigger: Disneyland or the Disneyland parking lot?"

Looking at Google Maps, it appears as though the parking lot is smaller, but when you take into account that there are several stories to it, the parking lot is actually bigger. Still, with a million dollars on the line, I can't just eyeball it. I need to get verification from the Mouse's mouth.

So I placed a call to Disneyland Media Relations:

Hello, I'm the head writer of a new game show, and I'm trying to write a question about Disneyland -- would it be possible for you to tell me which is larger: the park or the parking lot?

The response: “We can't give out that information.”

It's not exactly a secret though, right? I mean, I can see it on Google Maps.

"We can't give out that information."

Might I ask why?

"We just can't."

I can only imagine what Six Flags would be able to do if they knew how big the Disneyland parking lot was!
